Constable (General Duty) Job vacancies in Haryana Staff Selection Commission (Haryana SSC)

Cat. No. 1 : 509 posts of Constable (Male) for Telecommunication Wing.

Qualification : i) The minimum educational qualification for a constable to be eligible for selection as constable shall be 10+2 for all categories. ii) Knowledge of Hindi/Sanskrit upto Matric standard.

Physical Standard :
Height : 172 Centimeter General Category
              169 Centimeter For eligible reserve categories as per latest existing Govt. Reservation Policy
Chest : 83 Centimeter (Un-expanded) to 87 Centimeter (expanded)
            81 Centimeter (Un-expanded) to 85 Centimeter (expanded)

Age : 18-25 years
Pay Scale : Rs.21700-Level-3, Cell-I.

Fee Details :
Cat. No. 1 : Rs. 100/-
SC/BCA/BCB/EBPG candidates of Haryana State only : Rs. 25/-
Ex- Serviceman of Haryana : No Charges

The dependent of ESM and DFF are required to pay the fee as for General, SC, BCA & BCB Candidates as case may be. Fee once sent with the application form is neither transferable nor refundable/adjustable. The fee should be deposited through Net banking or e-Challan in any branch of State Bank of India, State Bank of Patiala, Punjab National Bank and IDBI Bank etc. available on payment site. Candidates are advised to choose their mode of payment i.e. Net banking or e-Challan while applying online.

Selection Process in Brief : Physical Screening Test (PST):
Physical Screening Test (PST) only of qualifying nature i.e. no marks shall be given for passing PST. The qualifying standards prescribed for this test shall be as under :
Candidates :

1. Male
Test distance : 5.0 Kilometer
Qualifying Time : 25 minutes

2. Ex.-serviceman
Test distance : 2.5 Kilometer
Qualifying Time : 13 minutes
Knowledge Test (KT): All those candidates who qualify the Physical Screening Test shall be given a Knowledge Test of 60 marks comprising of objective type, multiple choice questions with a provision of negative marking.

Interview-cum-Personality Test :
(i) Candidates shall be called for Interviewcum-Personality Test on the basis of their combined scores in Knowledge Test + Physical Measurement Test upto three times the numbers of vacancies in each category.
