SRF Remote Sensing recruitment in IARI on contractual basis
Project entitled: Assessing water, carbon and nitrogen footprints of major crops in some selected sites of the Indo-Gangetic plains
Qualification: M.E./ M.Tech. in Remote Sensing / Geographic Information System / Geoinformatics or M.Sc. in Soil Science / Soil Physics / Environmental Science / Agricultural Physics with specialization in Geoinformatics / Remote sensing / Geographic Information System. and First Division (60% marks) at post graduate level. The candidates should have done 4/5 years bachelors degree. Those with 3 years bachelors degree must have UGC/CSIR/ICAR NET/ MHRDGATE or any other equivalent qualification or equivalent Ph.D in any of above disciplines as per ICAR OM No. Agril Edn. 6/27/2014-HRD dated 9th October 2015.
Desirable Qualifications : Experience of conducting surveys and in handling digital remote sensing and GIS software. The candidate is required to travel, visit and stay at the selected village/block/district sites for conducting the surveys.
