Teaching Faculty (Professor, Associate / Assistant Professor) requirement 2011
Candidates eligible are invited by Central University of Karnataka (CUK) for taking his or her part in the process of Selection of Professor, Associate Professor and Assistant Professor. In the regard of selection, applications from eligible candidates are being invited. The newly recruitment exercise begins with notification no. 8/2011. In the discipline of Geology teaching faculty are required. Details related recruitment can be seen below: -
1. Professor
No. of Posts: – 01 (UR)
Essential Qualification: – Applicants should be an Eminent Scholar with completed Ph.D in subject Concerned with high quality published research work.
Experience: – 10 years of minimum work experience in Teaching / Research at University or National Level Institutions.
Scale of Pay: – Rs. 37400-67000/- Plus Grade Pay Rs. 10000/-
2. Associate Professor
No. of Vacancies: – 02 (UR)
Essential Qualification: – Ph.D Degree in relevant discipline (Geology) from govt recognised university. Applicants must have completed their PG with at least 55% marks or relevant grade before Higher Degree.
Experience: - 08 years of experience of Teaching or Research at the position of Assistant Professor is required.
Pay Scale: – Rs. 37400-67000/- with Rs. 9000/- Grade Pay
3. Assistant Professor
No. of Posts: – 04 (UR-02, ST-01, OBC-01)
Educational Qualification: – PG Degree in subject concerned with at least 55% marks .
Besides of academic qualification candidates must have cleared NET or similar test like SLET or SET.
Scale of Pay: – Rs. 15600-39100/- With Rs. 6000/- Grade pay
Process of Selection: – Eligible candidates will be selected on the basis of Interview. In this only shortlisted candidates will be called.
Processing Fee: – Rs. 250/- (Rs. 300/- in case of downloaded application) in shape of Demand Draft should be accompanied with application form. In the favour of “Central University of Karnataka” payable at Gulbarga, DD should be drawn. From any Nationalised bank, candidates are required to deposit the amount for making DD.
Fee Exemption: – SC/ST candidates need not pay any fee except Rs. 50/- as application fee.
How to apply: – Interested candidates having shown eligibility may apply for the recruitment of Professor, Assistant / Associate professor in prescribed form. The prescribed application form can be collected either from link below of our site or from by paying cash in the office of CUK.
Attested copies certificates in support of Educational Qualification and Experience should be enclosed with application. A recent passport size photograph is required to pasted at allotted space of application. Besides of these thing requisite amount of DD should be also enclosed with application.
