SAIL Burnpur 196 OCT, ACT Vacancies 2012: Steel Authority of India (SAIL) Burnpur, IISCO Steel Plant has issued notification for the recruitment of 196 Operator cum Technician (OCT), Attendant Cum Technician (ACT) vacancies for SC, ST, OBC and PWD Candidates. SAIL Burnpur Vacancy Details:
Total no of Posts: 196 Posts
Name of the Posts:
1. Operator Cum Technician (OCT): 143 posts
2. Attendant Cum Technician (ACT): 53 posts

Age Limit: Candidates minimum age should be 18 years as on 01-01-2012.

Educational Qualification: Candidates must have 3 years full time diploma in relevant discipline of Engineering for OCT, Matriculation with ITI in relevant trade for ACT.

Application Fee: Rs 250/- for OCT, Rs.150/- for ACT (OBC candidates) and Rs. 50/- for SC/ST/PWD Candidates. Deposit fee in Account No.’ POWER JYOTI’ – 31932241266 of SBI, Burnpur.

Selection Process: Mode of selection is based on written test, Interview and Medical Examination.

How to Apply: Eligible candidates may apply through Online from 14-04-2012 to 14-05-2012.


Instructions for Online Applying:
1. Candidates should have their valid Email ID and Scanned passport size color photo and signature.
2. Go to www.sail.co.in, Click on ‘Careers with SAIL’, Click on the job you want to apply and Click ‘Apply Online’.
3. Fill all the information in Application and Click ‘Submit’.
4. Click on ‘Print Challan and then go to bank pay the fee, Bank will provide the journal number.
5. Come back to SAIL Website, Click on ‘Payment details’ and fill the all details regarding payment of Fee.
6. Enter all the details in the form and ‘submit’. Candidate can take the print out of Registration Slip.
7. Candidates have to submit copy of Challan at the time of the written test.
