Indian Air Force Recruitment 2012 – Commissioned Officer Vacancies: Indian Air Force has issued notification inviting applications for Commissioned Officer posts in Meteorological Branch. IAF in this regard would conduct 134 Ground Duty Officers’ (GDOC) and 27 Short Service Commission Courses for Men and 43 Short Service Commission (SSC) Course for Women to be held in July 2013. Eligible candidates may apply through prescribed application format on or before 31-08-2012. Indian Air Force Vacancy Details:

1. Ground Duty Officers’ Course
2. Short Service Commission Course

Age Limit: Candidates’ age must be between 20 years and 25 years. Cutoff date for determining age limit would be 01-07-2013. (Age relaxations will be extended as per Govt. rules).

Educational Qualification: Candidates must possess Post Graduate Degree in concerned discipline with minimum of 50% marks.

Selection Process: Eligible candidates will be selected on the basis of performance in Intelligence Test of Stage I and Psychological test, Group Tests and Interview in Stage II followed by Medical Examination.

How to Apply: Candidates need to download application format available in the website, fill it with all mandatory details, attach photograph, attest signature, super scribe the name of the course to be applied for on the envelope and send it along with one self addressed envelope with Rs. 27/- postage stamp and two photographs only through Ordinary Post, to the following address Post Bag No. 001, Nirman Bhawan Post Office, New Delhi – 110106 on or before 31-08-2012.
