PPSC District Commander Vacancies 2012 –: Punjab Public Service Commission (PPSC) has issued notification against recruitment of District Commander / Battalion-2nd-in-Command / Junior Staff Officer / Chief Instructor Vacancies in the Department of Punjab Home Guards and Civil Defence. PPSC Vacancy Details:
Total Number of Vacancies: 06
Name of the Post:District Commander / Battalion-2nd-in-Command / Junior Staff Officer / Chief Instructor
Age Limit: Candidates’ age must be between 18 years to 37 years. Cutoff date for determining age limit would be 01-01-2012. (Age relaxations will be extended as per Govt. rules).
Educational Qualification: Candidates should possess Punjabi of Matric or its equivalent Standard.
Application Fee Details: To obtain the Application Form candidates can pay in cash of Rs. 25/- at the counter or to obtain by post, Rs. 75/- draft must be drawn. The Application Fee would be Rs. 200/- (Rs. 50/- for SC/ST/OBC candidates) which must be paid in form of Bank Draft drawn in favour of the Secretary, Punjab Public Service Commission, and payable at Patiala. Ex-servicemen of Punjab are exempted from payment of fee.
Selection Process: Eligible candidates will be selected on the basis of Interview.
How to Apply: Candidates may download application form from the website www.ppsc.gov.in or obtain the Application Form from the office of Punjab Public Service Commission, Baradari Gardens, Patiala, fill it with all mandatory details, attach photograph, super scribe the name of the post to be applied for on the envelope and send it along with payment receipt, two self addressed envelopes with stamps worth Rs. 30/- and copies of all relevant certificates, to the following address, Secretary, Punjab Public Service Commission, Baradari Gardens, Patiala-147001 on or before 27-08-2012.
