Age Limit: Candidate must have an age not exceeding 27 years for Dental Technician, Medical Record Technician, Dresser, Nursing Orderly Posts, age should be not exceeding 37 years for Social Worker Post and not exceeding 32 years for Laboratory Assistant ( for Govt. Employees up to 37 years for all the posts). Age will be relaxed as per rules.
Educational Qualifications: Candidates must possess 10+2 in Science stream with Diploma in Dental Mechanics for Dental Technician Post, Degree/Diploma in Social Work for Social Worker Post, 10+2 and a diploma in MLT for Laboratory Assistant, 10+2 and computer knowledge for Medical Record Technician, Matriculation or equivalent for Dresser, Matriculation or equivalent and knowledge of First-aid for Nursing orderly Post.
Application Fee: SC/ST/PWD/Female/Ex-Servicemen/Departmental Candidates are exempted from fee. For all other (Grade Pay 1800 to 2000) candidates application fee is Rs.125/- and (Grade Pay above 2000/-) Rs.225/- paid through Challan in any branch of Indian Bank. Candidates can download Challan from ESIC website. No fee for Female/ SC/ ST/ Ex.SM/ PWD/ ESIC Employee/Govt. Employee candidates.
Selection Process: Candidates will be selected on written exam for Dresser and Nursing Orderly posts, for remaining all other posts written exam followed by an interview.
How to Apply: Candidates may visit ESIC website www.esichennai.org for filling the application online starts from 14-11-2012 and closes on 04-12-2012. Candidates has to generate the prescribed challan from ESIC website. After submission of online application candidates take a hard copy of the submitted application and send it along with attested copies of all necessary enclosures, Challan duly attested in a closed envelope super scribed as application for the post of, post code no, State Tamil Nadu to the Medical Superintendent, ESIC Model Hospital, Ashok Pillar Road, K.K.Nagar, Chennai-78 on or before 11-12-2012.
